Investigation of the terrazzo cracks shown here , revealed the concrete was a poor mix design, lacked reinforcement and the terrazzo contractor used the wrong crack mitigating membrane.

Cracks in the concrete telegraphed through the thin-set terrazzo floor covering. The promised repairs were unsatisfactory and a law suit followed.

Blisters in the tennis court surfacing occurred within two months of the completion of the project and were caused by weak aggregates in the asphalt


The brick veneer of this middle school gymnasium was scheduled for replacement; but the condition of the supportive CMU made it necessary to replace the CMU piers supporting the roof with 8-inch tubesteel and resupport the entire existing CMU with a new CMU wall pinned to the exisitng with  Tapcon anchors and adjustable wall ties at 16-inches O.C.

Michigan State University hired ConstructionMI to design and contract for replacement of their wood shop dust collection system. The project was organized to make completion over spring break causing the least inteference with their normal routine.
